Why you should always kick a man when his down?

I know that a lot of people out there subscribe to the notion that you should always fight fair, but I would like to call the BS meter on this! You know how in every book or movie there’s always that moment when the hero or heroine is being wailed on by the antagonist and they get a break, beat on the bad guy a little and then decide to flee? But its futile because the bad guy always recovers and opens a whole can of nasty on them?

Well, if they all subscribed to the notion of kicking a man while his down, that would never have happened and probably, they would have saved that guy who shouldn’t have died because of them. So today’s weird rant is coming to you because I read the books King and Tyrant by T. M Frazier. If you haven’t read them yet, you need to. STAT!!! A dark romance with a little, or in this case, moderately a lot of blood and disturbing situations. So really, perfection in around 250 pages of a master piece! Plus you will love Preppy!

Any who, before I end this rant, I urge you to remember always kick them while they are down…

Bad Decisions…

JORDAN COTTON - A 21-year-old man who had his girlfriendÕs name tattooed on the back of his neck found the relationship was less permanent than the ink. She dumped him and his solution to the problem caused a row which ended with him appearing in court. No words… Ok I lied, I have tons of opinion on why this is such a stupid idea, but I have to get to class. 😛

Dating world standards…

I think the dating world has gone mad. I’ve been single for about two years now, and I’ve either forgotten how to be social or the world has changed it standards on what is attractive. I’ve been on a couple of dates since this year started and am telling you there’s definitely something wrong with the world. This is how a guy I was on a date with described me some days ago, “You are a funny, intelligent, and an attractive lady” and all that other stuff that I don’t remember, then he added, “but you are very distant, and a career focused lady”, which according to him was a bad thing.

So my question is simple, since when did men decide that they want a woman who is all touchy- feely, emotional, without career goals and their own money? Have I been out of the loop for that long?

Romantic Art is painful…

Have you seen an image of Gustav’s “The Kiss” painting? Well I saw it a few weekends ago and though it is a marvelous painting, the posture of the couple just seems too painful to be romantic. Am just saying, neck cramps.

When sally met hairy.

If the movie had this title I would have watched it, with no regrets. It could be about Sally meeting a very hairy guy called Harry. And he’s nickname is hairy harry. Yeah, I’ve never watched that movie, but my lecturer called one of classmates hairy guy and since I was day dreaming , it just hit me, when sally met hairy. A romance for the ages people.

Hugh Jackman needs a happy ending in a movie…

If you watch his movies closely you’ll see that he never gets the girl in some of his movies. Examples; Wolverine, his wife betrays him then she dies. Xmen, he loves Jean but she’s with Cyclops, and when he finally acts on it, he kills her. Van Helsing, He’s into Anna, makes his move and he ends up killing her accidentally. Seriously, his characters need a happy ending. It’s too much death!
